Telamonia vlijmi Proszynski, 1984c: 423-426, ff.18-25.
Material. 1‰- holotypus, 1Š- allotypus - Japan: Tsushima Islands, 3.V.- 1.VI.1966, leg. T.Yaginuma - coll.T.Yaginuma.
Comparative material: 1‰, 1Š- "Vic.mirian@terebrifera Th. Java Kulcz." -coll. E. Simon 20365, MNHN - Paris; "Viciria pavesi Thorell. Kandari, Celebes, 1874" - 1‰ lectotypus, 1Š - paralectotypus -@coll.@Thorell,@Mus.@Ci‚–.Genova.
(Bohd. and Prosz.,1987,140-142.)
@The species was identified as new already in 1971 and its drawings circulated as private communication under name Viciria vlijmi. Species named in honor of Prof. L. Vlijm, prominent arachnologist from the Netherlands.
Male.@About 1 cm long specimen with high, sloping posteriorly cephalothorax and narrow, pointed abdomen; light coloured with brown areas.
Cephalothorax yellowish-fawn with two blackish-brown transverse spots in front of fovea, brownish median streak along the thorax and brown areas stretching above ventral edge. Upper two-thirds of lateral surfaces of cephalothorax is whitish with white setae. Abdomen with narrowing posterioly broad whitish streak followed laterally by two thinner grey ones yellowish dotted, lateral surfaces yellowish.
Anterior eyes moved forward in relation to lateral ones, whitish with brownish rims. Clypeus narrow, brownish, covered with dense and intensely white horizontal adpressed setae, there are also vertical white setae, less dense, long and overhanging chericeral bases. Chelicerae brown. Palpal cymbium, tibia and patella yellowish, femur brown. Anterior leg somewhat stronger than others, yellowish with femur dark brown, apical half of tibia and tarsus brown; tnere is a ventral brush of fawnish setae on tibia I, not very striking. Legs II resembling leg I but with less contrasting coloration, weaker tibial brush limited to darker apical half only, the tarsus entirely yellowish.
Legs III and IV repeat the same pattern but are much paler, less contrasting and slender, leg IV being almost uniformly whitish-yellow with barely visible traces of apical brush.
Maxillary plates and labium brown, white tipped. Sternum paler brown, coxae whitish-yellow. Venter dirty brownish- grey with lung books areas white.
Palpal organ as in figs. 292-295.
( from Bohd. and Prosz.,1987)
Female resembles male in general shape of the body - with relatively high head and long, pointed posteriorly abdomen. Differs in much lighter general coloration of body and legs -@whitish-yellow with two long grew stripes along abdomen; the posterior slopes of thorax are slightly less white. That pattern is almost identical with females of T. festiva from Java, the only distinct difference being two dark pigmented spots along posterior border of the eye field, between eyes III and slihtly behind them; there is also a round brown pigmented spot inthe middle of the eye field, covering almost half of the white surface between blackened surroundings of eyes lateral. As similar pattern is visible on male it can be considered a distinctive character of the species T. vlijmi, however, its appearance should be checked on bigger number of specimens.
Ventral aspect whitish with middle grey line along abdomen and 2 indistinct lines laterally, there are two transverseal blackish dots in front of spinnerets. In T. festiva the ventral abdominal pattern varies from smooth white to thin grey line to broad median streak along abdomen, with 2 black transversal dots, thinner but longer. Epigyne is shown of figs. 297-298.
Clypeus pale yellowish-white covered with adpressed white setae.
